The last 4 years the winner has been Leo Messi, from Argentina, but this year, most of the people think that this trophy will be for Cristiano Ronaldo, from Portugal. That's not all, because there's another player who can win this trophy, Frank Ribéry, from France. These are the best players chosen by all the people in the world for this year. Is Messi gonna win his fifth Gold Ball? Is CR7 going to be the best player in the world? Will be Ribéry the surprise of the year? We'll know in January 2014

OTHER:The statue of the Golden Driller

The Golden Driller is a statue of an oil worker in Tulsa, Oklahoma. It's 23 meters tall, 19,700Kg. It's the fourth tallest statue in the USA and it's the largest free-standing in the world. It represents the roots of the city's oil.
It contains a total of 2.5 miles of rods and mesh. It's made from plaster and concrete.
The statue survived many tornadoes which is common in this state.

THIS IS ONE OF THE OPINIONS ABOUT THE GLOBAL WARMING, BECAUSE WE KNOW THERE ARE PEOPLE WHO THINK THE OPPOSITE OF THIS. ANYWAY, HERE YOU HAVE A DEFINITION OF THE GLOBAL WARMING:

Glaciers are melting, sea level rises, the forests are drying, and wildlife fight to keep pace. It is increasingly clear that humans have caused most of the warming of the last century, by emitting heat-trapping gases, to improve  our modern life. We call it greenhouse gases and their levels are getting higher, now and in the last 65,000 years.

Handball is a collective sport. No much people know this sport, but I think that is a great sport and is very special for me. Is  a very difficult sport especially for the girls because it is a tough sport and sacrificed (as all as all team sports require sacrifice, effort, sweat and tears). But I think that all this is worth it because you feel a wonderful feeling, emotion and ilusion when you are running and fighting for what you really like and you know a wonderful people who become you family because all together have a great passion and ilusion that summarized in one word: HANDBALL.

RECYCLING

Is a process to change materials, "waste"into new products to prevent waste of potentially  useful materials, reduce the consumption of raw materials, reduce energy usage, reduce the pollution.

The most important reason to recycle is because If people don´t recycle, everyday resources that we use will disappear soon.

The ozone layer(layer that protects the environment from the sun´s harmful ultra violet rays.

The fumes from trash go into the ozone layer, which can damage it.

The effects of not recycling can be very dangerous and harmful to our environment,ecosystems and the health of all the living things.

IN MY OPINION WE ALL SHOULD RECYCLE TO HELP AND PROTECT OUR ENVIRONMENT RATHER THAN HARMING IT.

Advantages and disadvantages of plastics

Plastics are man-made material that can be molded into different shapes and colours.
The word "plastic" means easy to bend or mold.
Here are some advantages and disadvantages of plastics:

Advantages: plastics can be recycled into other product, It's cheap, easy to buy, hard to break and can be used in surgery. 

Water and chemicals resistant,light in weight, strong, durable, good strength and toughness, can be easily moulded,can be used in electronic,transportation,construction and building industries.

Disadvantages: non-renewable resource, It's soft, causes cancer, produces highly toxic fume when it's burned, low heat resistant and poor ductility.
